Gentle Yoga

Sunday 5p-6p; Thursday 5p-6p
This class combines gentle postures, stretching, and restorative poses. It is perfect for those seeking a slower pace, are new to yoga, or have physical concerns or injuries.

 

Beginner Yoga
Saturday 9:15a -10:30a; begins January 10
Monday 5:30p - 6:45p; begins January 12
 
This class for students who are new to Yoga, or would like a refresher on yoga basics. This class focuses on postures to stretch and strengthen the legs, back, and shoulders. Emphasis is given to the basic alignment of the standing poses. Introduction to the philosophy of yoga and breathing techniques will be included.
 

Taste of Yoga, (6 week Introduction)
Monday 7:30p-8:45p ($75), begins February 23
A mini version of beginning yoga for those who want to explore the different styles of yoga. Each class will offer a different yoga experience to introduce the student to a variety of yoga alternatives.

 

Hatha Yoga I
Tuesday 6p - 7:30p

This class is designed for those who prefer a class less vigorous than Vinyasa. It includes standing postures, gentle stretches and breathing as well as simple movements designed to systematically increase the range of motion of every major joint and increase energ
y.

Hatha Yoga II
Monday, 5:30p – 7p

 
Includes sun salutations and intermediate level postures, including some inversions. Prior yoga experience is recommended for this class.

 

Vinyasa Yoga, Level 1 & 2
Tuesday 6p - 7:30p; Wednesday 7:30p - 9p

Friday  9:30a - 11a;  Saturday 9a - 10:30a; Sunday 3p -4:30p

 
A flow style yoga that synchronizes breath with movement. Vinyasa increases balance, strength & flexibility using the breath to link postures together. Level 1 begins with instruction on alignment of the postures and moves toward linking postures together in a continuous flow by the end of the session.

 

Vinyasa Yoga, Level 2 & 3
Thursday 6:15p - 7:45p
Vinyasa levels 2 & 3 refine balance, build endurance and add inversions (headstand and shoulder stand). Some previous yoga experience is recommended for this class.

 

 

Workshops

Reiki I - The Art of Divine Self Discovery
Sunday, January 18; 9:30a  - 4:30p
Usui Reiki Attunement included. Class focus is on physical attunement. Class limited to 4 students. Fee: $125.


Reiki II - The Art of Divine Self Discovery
Sunday, February 15; 9:30a - 4:30p
Reiki Level II. Must have completed Level 1 Reiki and 21 day cleanse. The focus of Reiki Level II is mental and emotional attunement. Limit 4 people per session Fee: $125.00

 
Restorative Workshop

Sun., March 22; 6-8 p $36 before March 1; $45 after
This evening of restorative yoga will be a series of powerful yet, fully supported, passive yoga poses designed to promote stillness and tranquility.  Through the use of blankets and bolsters, one experiences the yoga postures as profoundly relaxing and deeply rejuvenating.  These soothing and well-supported poses offer the opportunity to linger quietly for a few moments and savor the simple sweetness of life.
